Worthing Watersports are owned and run by Mike and Sue who have been involved in the watersports industry for more than 25 years.

Learning to windsurf in the relatively early years of the sport they were fortunate enough to be offered the opportunity to own/manage their original windsurfing lake in Cambridge in 1985 and progressed through the years via North Kent and the Medway Towns (Kent Windsurfing) to finally settle in Worthing, West Sussex and establishing Worthing Watersports in the Spring of 2006.

In the boom years of windsurfing during the 80′s and 90′s it was easily possible to sustain a business based purely around the sport of windsurfing, but with new emerging watersports like kitesurfing, sit-on-top kayaking and stand-up paddleboards (SUP), the move to Worthing opened the way for a more general watersports business and Worthing Watersports was born.

Worthing Watersports are the only shop specialising in windsurfing, kitesurfing, sit-on-top kayaking, stand-up-paddle boards and body boarding in Worthing and the general area and are a ‘one-stop-shop’ with free and very easy parking.

The shop is located in Alinora Crescent, Goring-by-Sea (opposite Sea Lane Café) in the St Johns Parade row of shops and offers extensive stock of all hardware, softwear, clothes and wetsuits associated with Windsurfing, Kitesurfing, Kayaking, SUP and more.

Worthing Watersports can also arrange professional tuition/lessons for Windsurfing, Kitesurfing, SUP and fitness training and work alongside, and in association with, The Baker Academy which is owner/managed by ex-professional windsurfer Ant Baker and are located just around the corner in Alinora Avenue, both businesses are located less than 100 metres from the Sea front at Goring and are ideally placed for all associated watersports.
